The Small Print

We’re in the process of updating our Terms & Conditions at the moment, but here are the basics until then:

TERMS

  1. Any agreed rates are standard time, based on an 8 hour day, usually from 0900–1800, with an hour for lunch. These times may vary as and when required by you. Overtime will be charged after the first 8 hours at a rate of +30% on a weekday (after midnight this increases to +50%). Weekends are standard rate +40% 0900–1800, with a minimum charge of 4 hours. After 1800 weekends are +50%. Bank holidays are +100%, with a minimum charge of 4 hours.

  3. In addition to the Fees, you shall reimburse us for any and all Expenses (for example but not limited to hospitality / cars / couriers) incurred by us on behalf of the Project, which are subject to an administrative fee.

  5. All hiring of external equipment (i.e. Avid/Protools systems) and relating set up time will be at an additional cost. All client supplied equipment will be subject to a DLL engineering check and a fee will be charged. DLL accepts no liability for any defects in the equipment nor any costs associated with defects or problems caused by such equipment.

  7. All payments are due within 14 days from invoice unless otherwise we agree with you to the contrary.

BOOKING POLICY

Re: a "pencil" reservation (where you enquire about availability and provisionally book the Studio and Facilities for a period of time) we may inform you at any time to either convert to a "confirmed" booking status or we will remove your first pencil reservation. Failure to confirm your booking within 24 hours of us informing you of this entitles us to cancel your pencil reservation. A pencil booking is converted to a "confirmed" booking upon our receipt of a purchase order.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A "confirmed" booking is subject to the following cancellation fees:

Weekly Bookings:

100%: Less than 20 working days notice
75%: More than 20 working days but less than 40 working days notice
50%: More than 40 working days but less than 60 working days notice
0%: More than 60 working days notice

Daily Bookings:

100%: Less than 24 hours notice
50%: More than 24 hours but less than 48 hours notice
0%: More than 48 hours notice

If you have to cancel any of your "confirmed" bookings and we manage to sell it to another client, we will not charge you a cancellation fee. If we do not re–sell the time at the same rate as stated on your purchase order, we will charge you the difference.
