WB De Lane Lea: About the company

Major De Lane Lea was a French intelligence attaché for the British Government. He founded De Lane Lea in 1947 to dub English films into French. The studios expanded significantly in the ‘swinging’ ’60s and ’70s. Music recording increased dramatically and the growth of commercial radio and TV also led to new work in advertising

Over the years, many music legends have recorded at De Lane Lea.

Groups have included the Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Queen.

Today WB De Lane Lea specialise in sound post production for feature films and television. Our state of the art facilities and talented staff allow us to shape soundtracks to extraordinary levels of detail and creativity.
